Paul Tremblay’s debut novel, A Head Full of Ghosts, rocked the horror world for its masterful telling of a teenage girl’s possession being fodder for a reality show. The rights were obtained four years ago, and at the moment Oz Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House) is set to direct.
More recently, Tremblay’s book The Cabin at the End of the World has been acquired for adaptation, in 2018. The book concerns two men and their young daughter being held captive by four people who claim that in order to prevent the end of the world, one of them must die.
No word yet on whether Disappearance at Devil’s Rock will become a movie, but knowing Hollywood…
